Procera/Zirconia:

Indications:
Ideal for posterior or anterior crowns.

Cementation:

Can be bonded or cemented with any cement.

With Procera®'s latest cad/cam technology. restorations achieve a new level of brilliance than ever before. They are stronger, fit better, and are more esthetic than many other all ceramic restorations. test results indicate that Procera® high flexural strength (687 MPa), combined with color stability and precision of fit, all combine to form one of the most naturally esthetic restorations available. Made from a densely sintered high-purity alumina core and combined with a low fusing porcelain, Procera® achieves an impeccably precise fit.

1.      Resin based cements are recommended because of their lower flexural strengths, allowing for movement between cement and coping, and cement and dentin.

2.      They have cohesive properties as opposed to adhesive properties. They actually penetrate the surface of the coping rather than just adhering to the surface.

3.      applied between .060 mm and .120 mm in thickness

4.      Failure most often occurs when excessive cement space (over application of cement)

  Is present.

Now your patients can enjoy the beauty of a non-metallic restoration with confidence knowing that it will last for year's to come.
